“Smart, keenly observed, and hilarious parody of the affectations of various types of music stars, ranging from bubble gum pop to country to rock. If you enjoy music and laughter, see this.” -Best NYC Comedy
“An all too brief jam session that hilariously lampoons a couple of decade’s worth of music…Mr. Blotner’s ability to parrot so many different styles of music in such a concentrated setting truly is impressive. Down to the smallest details, like the two-syllabled “yeah” in the chorus of Simon Never Said’s “Alone,” Mr. Blotner’s catalog amusingly zeroes in on things unique to each time period or type of music.” -Surreal Time Press
“You like: “Rock of Ages,” the hairband musical. Try: “Lollapacoacharoozastock Music Festival,” a rock concert spoof.” -New York Daily News
“Extremely silly and lots of fun…It’s a good time.” -Curtain Up
“Great crowd-pleasing ballads…It is really a fun time.” -NYTheatre.com
“An impressive comedy pedigree.” -New York Times
“Perfectly captured the genres they were spoofing…Would probably make Weird Al proud” -Pataphysical Science Theater Blog
“Lollapacoacharoozastock Music Festival celebrates everything we love to hate and hate to love about teen idols, country western twang, post-grunge-indie-pop-rock, and hair bands, not unlike Broadway mainstay Rock of Ages…Lolla is a rock concert with lots of laughs.” – Maxamoo
